Killibinbin Langhorne Creek 'Seduction' 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (South Australia), $13.99-$16.99, 83 points, poured core black grading ruby red toward the moderately leggy glass bowl and clear wine ring.
The aroma was herbaceous with soft black fruit and chocolate notes.
Full-bodied with good acidity and an easy layer of tannins had to cope with a rather unruly gang of tart, herbaceous, and even sour flavors.
Finished plummy and a bit boring for me.
The awkward 14.5% added to my dissatisfaction with underperforming down-under Cab.
