Volver La Mancha 2014 Tempranillo, $11.89-$15.99, 91 points, poured an impregnable purple/red with a transparent rim and a glass wall of heavy draping.
Aromatic red and black fruit nuanced with mocha, blueberry, and roses were excellent.
Near full-bodied with bright acidity and a firm dense underlayment of tannin faithfully translated the aromas onto the palate that reached deep into the long finish marked by chocolate covered strawberries, invigorating white pepper, plum, and a potent 15% alcohol.
