Elouan, Oregon, 2019 Chardonnay, $11.49-$17.99, 87 points, was a medium brass/gold color and gray towards the rim.
Aromas were largely white grape, NECCO wafer, and apples.
This Elouan was medium-bodied, dry, showed fair acidity, and was very juicy with hints of lemon and apple pie flavors, but was rather one dimensional, yet tasty and certainly qualified as a good table wine.
Finished long, tart, and with a big 14.2% alcohol content.
Paired fine with our white fish and chicken smorgasbord.
