Dunn Vineyards Napa Valley 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, $63.74-$74.99, 93 points, poured core black grading a Bordeaux purple/red toward the clear wine ring and bows of draping on the glass wall.
Smells of loam with developing grape, cedar, lavender, and chocolate aromas were good.
Full-bodied with mouthwatering acidity and grainy gripping tannins carried excellent flavors of pomegranate, black currant, truffles, fennel, and plums accented by chocolate, cedar, and a floral component.
Finished extra-long on an intense warm spiciness and the modest 13.9% alcohol.
