(Meritage) International Bordeaux-Styled Red Wines

Why this designation of International Bordeaux-Styled Red Wines? Simply as a taxonomical tool to separate typical Red Wine (USA) blends and Rhône Red Wine (France) blends from red wines made around the world, and with blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec (Malbac). In the photograph below you'll notice on the label of the Argentinian red wine the term "Assemblage" which I take to be a "Meritage" of sorts.
