Felix Solis 'Medusa' Rias Baixas 2016 Albariño (Spain), $9.99-$19.99, 87 points, was a medium glossy gold color.
Aromatic, Clementine flesh, apricot, and ripe dates with a hint of pineapple were outstanding.
Medusa's lush medium body showed fair acidity which struggled to enliven its peach and apricot flavors.
Finished long on nondescript stone fruit, a hint of ginger, and a well balanced 13% alcohol.
Paired remarkably well with my smoked oysters in a red-pepper infused olive oil.
