Château de Camarsac (Thierry Lurton) Bordeaux Supérieur 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine, average price is $15.00, 90 points, poured a mottled black and deep purple/red with a broad clear wine ring and moderately fat stained legs.
Aromatic soft floral notes, red fruit, and licorice were excellent.
Full-bodied red wine with good acidity and firm grainy tannins delivered an herbal cornucopia dominated by cardamom, and showing a balanced red/black fruit attack.
Finished well on easy pepper spices, a bit chalky, and with a balanced 14% alcohol.
Varietals were 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc.
Paired nicely with my ordinary grass fed cheeseburgers.
