Château Ferran Pessac-léognan 2015 Red Bordeaux, $16.57-$19.49, 90 points, poured an opaque ruby red with a broad clear wine ring and fat stained legs.
Aromatic black fruit with nuanced toast and mocha were excellent.
Early palate soft full body yielded to a more intense tannin base with good acidity.
Flavors of black currants and berries were accented with anise, plum, and graphite.
Finished well on a 14% alcohol imbued pepper spiciness.
