Chateau Bonnet 2009 Bordeaux

Chateau Bonnet 2009 Bordeaux, $13.99-$15.99, 89 points, is deep-red in color, marked by a toasty aroma with plum notes.
This is a balanced red wine having a medium body with fair acidity, mild tannin, drinking smoothly with flavors of plum, black-currant, mushroom and earth, while the finish is fair on spicy notes.
If you're thinking "red-wine for dinner", then this one will do just fine.
I reviewed the 2008 Chateau Bonnet almost a year ago, and I think it was a better vintage, but for the dollars the 2009 is still a great deal.
