Chateau David Beaulieur 2010 Bordeaux Superieur (Varietals were, 70% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc, and 11% Cabernet Sauvignon), $12.60-$14.00 and bought at the Londonderry Hannafords Super-market, scored 87 points, was rosewood to ruby in color with a broad clear rim.
The aroma was a spiced red cherry.
Medium-bodied with moderate acidity and marked by fair tannin, means to me that this Bordeaux is definitely a red table wine ready to drink at any time; I liked it better the next day as the wine breathed and became more homogeneous.
Flavors of licorice and coffee complemented those of the aroma, but the finish was a tad on the weak side.
