Fetzer Shaly Loam 2010 Gewürztraminer, $8.99-$10.99, 85 points, begins almost as a viscous deep gold colored liquid.
The nose is a gentle to weak floral melon.
Medium-plus body carries more acidity than a Gewürztraminer is supposed to, but the flavor profile falls short of its robust reputation as did the aroma. A rather one dimensional, though fair flavored, off-dry white wine with little to disparage, and the ginger finish was quite good.
Paired adequately with Asian cuisine.

Nick, I finally got around to tasting this wine you recommended as a white wine of some sweetness and low cost (Interesting you too picked-up on the moderate acidity)! I agree with you!
