Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr 2010 Riesling Spätlese ...

Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr 2010 Riesling Spätlese, $36,54-$42.99, 94 points, "folded" in a way I had not thought of before in a wine: the golden colors shimmered, aromas flowed in waves of lemon oil, fresh-cut grass, green melons, and morning's spring dew, flavors unbounded, lightly sweet meringue, crisp, refreshing, and yet possessed a substantial body of mouth-watering acidity carrying the bouquet onto the palate and trailing into the finish which had its own waves of flavors, but ended gently with tangerine and light ginger.

  2. Vinogirl, Yeah and with almost anything cuisine has to offer, and if you consider Chris' club and the $9.00 corkage fee, will only cost you (my cost)$27,54:-)Not bad for such a fine wine.

    1. Nick, I must admit that I liked this wine by itself, though as any "good" Riesling should, it paired nicely with everything we threw at it. A special wine for us poor, but a great wine most any day for those who can afford it.
