Clos du Bois North Coast 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, $8.50-$12.99, 88 points, appeared as a light silver/green with brass highlights.
Subtle aromas of peach and apricot notes with an underlayment of citrus were good.
The light and crisp body carried good acidity with a rather sharp/rough texture.
Flavors mirrored the aromas with considerable lemongrass.
Finished long on the trailing palate with intense ginger notes and a well integrated 13.5% alcohol.
This white wine has a very good QPR, and if you're buying by the case, your guests will be grateful.
