Siduri Santa Rita Hills 2011 Pinot Noir

Siduri Santa Rita Hills 2011 Pinot Noir, $22.99-$32.99, 92+ points, poured blood-red trending garnet toward the broadly transparent circumferential ring.
Cinnamon, floral plum, and blackberry were excellent aromas.
The medium body carried good acidity and mildly building tannin.
Flavors of red and black fruit were delicious!
Finished long with notes of coffee, pomegranate, spice, damson plum, red cherry liqueur,  and a perfect 14.1% alcohol.
Willamette Valley will have its work cut-out for them this year! 'Cause, as I've heard: "All these California wines are sooo good!"

  1. Adam Lee is a great winemaker. I love his Pinots, & he has a TON of them. I also like his Novy wines.

  2. A friend brought over Novy Russian River Zin the other night - it was fantastic!

By the way, I do try to return to the scene(s) of the crime to check for replies.
