Belle Ambiance Family Vineyards California 2014 Chardonnay, $8.99-$11.99, 87 points, was a medium dark brass color.
Aromas of caramel, vanilla, green grapes, and a hint of tangerine were better than okay.
Medium-bodied with fair-plus acidity managed well the oak dominant flavor profile, and though not my typical white quaffing wine, was an excellent partner with my fried chicken and buttered corn-on-the-cob.
Finished fair on a spot-on 13.5% alcohol and an interesting tart/sour rendition of the consistent oak dominant palate.

Sounds like way too much oak for me.
