DR Loosen Bros. Mosel 2016 Riesling, $12.99-$14.99, 90 points, was a very light brass color grading clear toward the glass wall.
Aromas were soft floral, grassy, and citrusy.
This fruity fresh white wine with a light-body began early palate sweet which quickly quickened tart and off-dry, showed mouthwatering acidity and bright flavors of lemon/lime, tangerine, pome fruit, and fresh-cut grass notes.
Finished long on the trailing palate, a hint of ginger, and an easy 8.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my sautéed Atlantic sea scallops, chips, and flan dessert.
