Bocelli In Canto 2014 Rosso Toscana IGT (Cabernet Sauvignon), $22.09-$54.99, 91 points, poured an opaque garnet red with a bit of debris, cloudy meniscus, and light stained legs.
Aromas of mint, Bordeaux lily, allspice, and just a hint of red fruit were lovely.
A medium-plus body dry red wine with a supportive underlayment of tannin, fair acidity, and flavors reflective of the nose and dominated by iron, was a bit cerebral.
Finished long on the fading palate, intensifying lily, red raspberry, easy spice, and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my vegetable/beef stew.
