Buehler Napa Valley 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, $16.99-$21.99, 90 points, reveals a youthful wine with a clear rim, deep purple-red color somewhere between Shiraz purple and Bordeaux ruby.
I easily enticed aromas of perfumed black fruit, oak, and sweet cooking spice to rise out of the glass.
Medium-plus body shows good acidity, youthful and approachable tannin.
Good flavors of black fruit, dried bay-leaf, and a pleasant bourbon-like oaky alcohol (14.1%) are well balanced.
Finishes on a trailing palate with warm spice.
Great as a stand-alone wine, but should get a lot of applause as a red table wine.
