Decoy Sonoma County 2011 Pinot Noir, $22.09-$25.99, 88 points, begins in the glass as a bright pomegranate red with a transparent rim.
Has a very toasty aroma with red cherry and plum notes.
The medium body has good acidity, mild tannin, and carries the aroma onto the palate (plum dominates) with tobacco notes.
Finishes fair with some spiciness and a touch of heat (13.9% alcohol).
