Ghost Pines 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, $17.99-$20.99, 86, points, appears almost opaque with a dense black currant purple/red color and a clear rim.
Aromatic clove, cinnamon, and cedar with hints of blackberry is very good though tame,
Full bodied with fair acidity and tannin carries an over whelming black currant and bell pepper flavor.
A moderately smooth texture toward the long finish of spice, blackberry, boysenberry, and just a hint of alcohol (13.9%) is quite good.
