Duckhorn Napa Valley 2012 Sauvignon Blanc, $28.99-$31.99, 92 points, a price higher than most California Sauvignon Blanc wines, but a price I'd easily pay again after the last two disappointing Pinot Noir wines I just had! (apples and oranges?)
Gray with a brass-tone color shimmers almost silver.
An immaculate aroma of lime, tangerine, a hint of Lychee nut and honeysuckle wafts as pleasantly as it sounds.
The near medium body carries good acidity with its citrus flavors.
Finishes beautifully with honeydew melon, ginger, and white pepper.
Varietals were 83% Sauvignon Blanc 17% Sémillon.
