Sbragia Dry Creek Home Ranch 2012 Chardonnay, $21.24-$24.99, 87+ points, poured a lovely light lemon yellow with a lime-green hue trending water clear at the glass shallows.
Aromas of soft vanilla and melon notes were just okay for me.
Medium-bodied with fair to good acidity managed vanilla, caramel, jasmine, melon, and a hint of citrus in a typically robust Cali Chardonnay style.
Finished fair with black pepper, the trailing palate, and a noticeable 14.7% alcohol.
