Temptation California 2011 Zinfandel, $8.00-$16.50, 86 points, was a deep maroon color with a broad clear wine ring.
Smells of black currant, savory, and red cherry were just okay for me.
The medium to medium-plus body managed fair to good acidity and mellow, but sufficient tannin.
Flavors of blueberry, blackberry, red cherry, and plum told the tale of this fruit-forward Zinfandel.
Finished okay on the trailing palate, hints of eucalyptus, and a sweet-spot 14.5% alcohol.
