Waterstone Napa Valley 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon, $21.24-$27.99, 91 points, appeared core black trending a Bordeaux purple/red as it closed-in on the very broad clear wine ring.
Aromas of blackberry, black currant, truffle, clove, and cedar were very good.
Full-bodied, fair to good acidity, moderate tannin, and flavors reflective of the aromas with a polished palate-feel made for a gracious libation.
Finished long on anise, gentle spice, hints of eucalyptus, plum notes, and a well integrated 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my steak and potatoes.
