Buil and Giné 17-XI 2012 Montsant Red Wine,
$16.99-$20.99, 89 points, poured a deep ruby trending a soft crushed black currant purple/red with a broad clear wine ring.
Smells of mulberry, gentle clove notes, and a warm earth aroma were good.
Medium-bodied, good acidity, moderately supportive tannin throughout, and flavors reflective the aromas with hints of licorice, tobacco, and blueberries were good too.
Finished fair on a hot 15% alcohol and warm spice notes.
Paired great with my barbecued pork ribs, butternut squash, and buttered mashed red-skinned potatoes.
