Codice Vino De La Tierra De Castilla 2007 Tempranillo, $8.99-$11.99, 88 points, was opaque at the core, radiated ruby toward a transition of orange/red at the glass bowl and broad clear wine ring.
Aromatic spicy cedar with blackberry and black grape were pleasant.
Medium-plus body carried good acidity with still supportive, but supple tannin.
Flavors were dominated be grape notes with violets, mint, leather, and cola.
Finished long on the trailing palate, white pepper, eucalyptus, and a warm 13.5% alcohol.
I found this wine to be fresh and lively after being in my cellar for at least four years.
