Averaen Willamette Valley 2016 Pinot Noir, $16.19-$17.99, 88 points, poured a bright cranberry red with a clear meniscus and dense long legs.
Aromatic toasty red fruit with floral and evergreen vibes were lovely.
Medium-bodied with good acidity and soft supportive tannins managed floral cherry and blueberry flavors.
Finished dry, tangy, and long on the trailing palate, mint, and a balanced 13.8% alcohol.
Paired okay with my prosaic cheese burgers.
