Twomey Napa Valley 2017 Sauvignon Blanc, $22.94-$26.99, 91 points, poured the lightest brass color with a slight gray cast.
Sea breeze smells with a whisper of apple were pleasant.
Light, crisp, brightly acidic while showing good mineral and hay flavors nuanced with apple and pomelo.
Finished tart and tangy with intensifying ginger notes plus a balanced 14.3% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my North Atlantic lobster salad.

Sounds nice, good price, apple appealing.
ReplyDeleteVG: I think Cali SB is often a remarkably great varietal and often among the best White wines in the world. JMO
