Chateau Montelena Napa Valley 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, $47.59-$55.99, 89 points, poured a dark ruby grading purple/red toward the broadly transparent wine ring and moderately draped bowl.
Aromatic cedar, black currants, smoky mulberry, and a floral perfume were lovely.
Full-bodied with good acidity and a drink-now layer of tannin translated the aromas onto the palate.
Finished long on white pepper, blueberry, a hint of Rosemary, and a balanced 14.2% alcohol.
