Giesen Marlborough 2020 Sauvignon Blanc, $9.34-$13.99, 88 points, was a light brass color and grading gray to clear midway towards the rim.
Aromas of lemon oil, passion fruit, and a strong minerality were quite pleasant.
A light-bodied dry white wine with good acidity and good flavors of lemongrass, passion fruit, ginger ale, and that noticeable minerality carried fair into the finish and climaxed well with a 13% alcohol.
Paired nicely with my salmon burgers.
