J. Lohr Arroyo Seco Monterey 2020 Sauvignon Blanc, $11.04-$15.99, 87 points, was a light brass color and graying midway towards the rim.
Aromas of a funky grass, orange zest, and a hint of white chocolate chip cookie were okay.
A light-bodied dry and acidic white wine with a straight-forward flavor profile of grass, white pepper, and citrus was followed by a long finish of white pepper, hints of ginger, and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Maine lobster roll.
