Domaine Drouhin Dundee Hills 2012 Pinot Noir, $32.79-$$44.99, 94 points, poured a lovely pomegranate red with an obligatory clear rim.
The beautifully nuanced bouquet displayed flowers, an orange note, coffee, sweet cooking spices, and strawberry.
Domaine Drouhin Dundee Hills 2012 Pinot Noir had a deceptively* medium body which carried good acidity and the most supportive tannins of the recently tasted Pinot Noir wines.
Primarily a dry red-fruit Pinot, but other flavors of sweet cooking spices transcended the late palate into the long finish of mint, a well integrated 14.1%, and pepper spices.
*Deceptive body was marked by an early palate delicate/light body that transitioned into a robust and complex weightiness.
