La Crema Willamette Valley 2012 Pinot Noir, $7.98-$32.99 ($25 promotional gift card applied), 92 points, poured a deep cranberry red with a broad clear rim.
Wafting aromas of cinnamon, cedar, black cherry, and a floral note were very good.
The medium body carried good acidity and mild but building tannin.
Flavors of orange peel, black tea, tart cranberry, cinnamon, licorice, plum, and black cherry were excellent.
Finished well on the trailing palate, white pepper, a well integrated 13.5% alcohol, and a hint of mint.
