Panther Creek Willamette Valley 2013 Pinot Gris

Panther Creek Willamette Valley 2013 Pinot Gris, $15.99, 88 points, appeared to be a light brass color with flecks of orange reflected.
Different and interesting nose of tangerine and subtle orchard blossoms.
The light body was refreshing as it carried fair acidity and flavors reflective of the nose with a more citrusy profile than the others, almost similar to a near bite-less Sauvignon Blanc.
Finished unremarkably on the trailing palate with a hint of the 13.5% alcohol.

  1. Nice little selection of PGs, the Panther Creek sounding particularly nice.

    1. VG: I'm guessing that you say this because befitting the varietal nature of PG, it is better described by "unremarkable. . . near bite-less Sauvignon Blanc"?
