Yalumba South Australia 2013 Viognier, $10.19-$13.99, 88 points, was a straw yellow color.
Smells of melon with hints of smoky nuttiness were pretty good.
The near full body carried amazingly good acidity with complex flavors that not only reflected the aromas, but added notes of bacon fat, cantaloupe, lemon oil and finished with loads of ginger, a well integrated 14.1% alcohol, and black pepper.
