Bodegas Naia Rueda 2014 Verdejo (Castilla y Leon, Spain), $12.99-$14.99, 89 points, was a satin gold color.
An olfactory treat with lots going on here; there were pome, flowers, pine, and peach aromas.
Light, mouthwateringly acidic, round, and as complexly rich as the aromas, a bit sour, but melon rind, kiwi, and hints of white grapefruit were quite good.
Finished long on the trailing palate and a substantial 13.5% alcohol.
Paired fine with my spicy sausage and spinach pie.
