Millet - Roger 2014 Sancerre

Millet - Roger 2014 Sancerre, $25.99-$27.99, 90 points, was a light gold color trending gray at the glass bowl.
Smells of cantaloupe and orange peel were very good.
Light crisp body carried good acidity with flavors of limestone, lychee, star fruit, and orange peel.
Finished long on the trailing palate, a touch of ginger, and a well integrated 12.5% alcohol.
Paired wonderfully with buttered wild mushroom ravioli and lentil crackers with sharp cheddar cheese, but Maine lobsters will do too.

    1. More expensive than many domestic and NZ SBs, but almost always more interesting
