Sensi Testardo 2012 Toscana IGT, $21.24-$29.99, 89+ points, poured a pure shimmering ruby red with a well defined and broad wine ring.
Aromatic, truffle, cedar, clove, roses, and black fruit were very good.
Near full-bodied with good acidity, slightly astringent, but sufficiently supportive tannin, flavors of plum, truffle, pomegranate, black and red cherry were nicely balanced.
Finished moderately long with hot spice and a well integrated 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my spiced lamb rib chops and Greek salad.
