Smells of black cherry dominated earth and cedar notes.
Medium-plus body managed bright acidity and layered/building tannins, and did so with finesse.
Cherry flavors were crowded with subtle tobacco, chocolate, black olive, and licorice notes.
Finished long and warm with a 15% alcohol and spices.
This was an excellent food friendly red wine, but maybe a bit still too tannic for a stand-alone-tipple.
