Bodega Numanthia Terms 2010 Tinta de Toro

Bodega Numanthia Terms 2010 Tinta de Toro, $21.60-$24.00, 92 points, poured a near blood-red trending more a red of purple/red with a broad clear wine ring at the heavily cloaked glass bowl.
Smells of black cherry dominated earth and cedar notes.
Medium-plus body managed bright acidity and layered/building tannins, and did so with finesse.
Cherry flavors were crowded with subtle tobacco, chocolate, black olive, and licorice notes.
Finished long and warm with a 15% alcohol and spices.
This was an excellent food friendly red wine, but maybe a bit still too tannic for a stand-alone-tipple.
