Clos Du Val Napa Valley Reserve 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon

Clos Du Val Napa Valley Reserve 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, $46.49-$119.99, 93 points, poured core black grading a deep purple/red with a clear wine ring and glass bowl of dripping fat legs.
Perfumed potpourri of red and black fruit wafting nuanced hints of evergreen, mint, and loam were excellent.
Full-bodied with good acidity and a fine grainy underlayment of tannin managed to deliver the bouquet to the palate along with cola flavors.
Finished long on pepper spices, truffle, citrus, and pomegranate notes with a well-balanced 14.1% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our meat-lovers pizza and black olive and tomato salad.
