Napa Cellars Napa Valley 2015 Zinfandel, $12.74-$20.99, 88 points, poured an impregnable purple/red grading lighter toward the clear wine ring and moderately draped bowl.
Smells of blueberries and blackberries with hints of cocoa and peat were rich and interesting.
Medium-bodied with bright acidity and a firm sheet of tannins unfurled flavors reflective of the nose nuanced with cola and red fruit jam.
Finished long on pepper spices, plum, fig, and a well-balanced 14.9% alcohol.
Paired fine with my Philly cheese-steak.
