Château La Grande Metairie Entre-Deux-Mers 2014 Bordeaux White Wine, $10.19-$11.99, 90 points, poured a light bass color.
Aromatic grapefruit, gooseberry, and lemon grass were good and reminded me of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
The light crisp body with good acidity deftly managed flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, lychee, and pine needle tea.
Finished long on the trailing palate, white pepper, ginger, and a well integrated 12.5% alcohol.
Varietals were 56% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Sauvignon Gris, and 9% Muscadelle.
