Wild Oats Central Ranges 2012 Chardonnay (Australia), $10.99-$12.99, 88 points, was a bright gold color.
Smells of citrus, pome blossoms, and fresh-water lakes were pleasant.
Just shy of medium-bodied with fair to good acidity, flavors of pear, citrus, granite minerality, hints of oak and bananas were quite good.
Finished on the trailing palate with hints of kiwi, watermelon rind, and a well integrated 13% alcohol.
