Cuvaison Napa Valley Carneros 2009 Chardonnay Revisited four years later, $14.44-$22.99, 90 points (still), poured a copper/brass color.
Predominately a melon fragrance which was okay.
The medium-plus body carried fair acidity with flavors of butterscotch, caramel, with hints of butter (very much a good typical Cali Chardonnay), and unripe honeydew melon.
Finished long on powerful black and white pepper notes, ginger, and a well integrated 14.2% alcohol.
Wine changes all the time, so does the wine taster!
