Honig Napa Valley 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, $27.19-$35.99, 92 points, poured a deep purple/red trending bright red toward the still broadly clear wine ring at the glass edge and leggy bowl.
Aromatic cedar and black fruit were excellent.
Full-bodied with good acidity and a mellow underlayment of tannin manage a well-balanced flavor profile of black fruits, violets, cedar, anise, truffle, clove, and cinnamon.
Finished long on the trailing palate, warm spices, and a sweet-spot 14.5% alcohol.
I paired and enjoyed this Cab with my smorgasbord of Mexican dishes.
