Silverado Napa Valley 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon

Silverado Napa Valley 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, $38.24-$56.99, 93 points, poured core black trending a rich burgundy purple/red toward the crystalline wine ring and leggy glass wall.
Aromatic black fruit with hints of mocha were outstanding.
Nearly full-bodied with good acidity complemented the layered, grainy, and firm tannin which deftly managed substantial depth in fruit, cola, and nuanced delicious flavors.
Finished long on a touch of Japanese plum wine, anise, warm spices, and a sweet-spot 14.6% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my meatballs and spaghetti.
