Kim Crawford Marlborough 2017 Sauvignon Blanc

Kim Crawford Marlborough 2017 Sauvignon Blanc, $6.79-$9.99 (375ml), 87 points, was a light gold color.
Aromas of grass, yeast, and grapefruit were good.
Light-bodied with bright acidity delivered a restrained, for a NZ SB, flavor profile, but don't believe this 2017 KC was devoid of pink grapefruit, it wasn't, and along with kiwi, yeast (reminiscent of ale), and grass notes was quite delicious.
Finished on the trailing palate, a trace of ginger, and an easy 12% alcohol.
Paired fine with our North Atlantic Sea scallops.
