Château De Macard Grand Vin Bordeaux Supérieur 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine, $14.44-$18.99, 89 points, poured a deep garnet red with light-stained legs and a broad clear wine ring.
Aromas of cinnamon, clove, plum, and Bordeaux lily were excellent.
This was a slightly "bigger" bodied dry red wine than most Chianti: good acidity, a firm underlayment of tannin, and red cherry, licorice, plum, and strong spice flavors which carried long into the finish marked by a well-balanced and typical 13.5% alcohol excelled as a red-table wine.
