Dr. Pauly-Bergweiler Noble House Mosel 2018 Riesling, $14.85-$20.61, 88 points, was a very light yellow gold color and being water-clear toward the rim.
Smells of stone fruit, artesian water, pome blossoms and just a hint of petrol were fragrant.
This light-bodied off-dry white wine was tart, acidic, and unobtrusive with subtle flavors reflective of the bouquet, but with an upfront Granny-smith apple.
Finished long on the fading palate, a touch of grapefruit-citrus, and a balanced 10% alcohol.
Paired well with our Chinese cuisine.
